Empire Tapestry is a multi award‑winning roan Huacaya male and the cornerstone of our Huacaya breeding programme. He has sired over 35 cria, consistently passing on fineness, structural correctness, and colour stability, and has proven himself across multiple generations.

Tapestry first demonstrated his quality early, winning National Champion Roan at just 18 months of age, judged by Lyn Dickson (Australia). He has since gone on to fulfil that early promise through the production of numerous exciting progeny that continue to perform well both on farm and in the show ring.

He is a well‑grown male with excellent conformation and strong bone, combined with a gentle temperament that makes him a pleasure to work with. His fleece is uniform across the blanket, with a consistent micron profile, good density, and an even, reliable crimp style. His colour is best described as a soft mushroom roan, and his fleece carries a lovely handle and lustre.

Empire Tapestry’s pedigree draws heavily on some of the most influential Australian and New Zealand foundation genetics, including Purrumbete Inti, Purrumbete Highlander, Purrumbete El Dorado, Purrumbete True Perfection, Forestglen Maestro, Patagonian Quiltea (Imp), and Petarvon Sonoma. Many of these bloodlines trace back to the original IAR animals imported by Roger Haldane, which form the bedrock of the modern alpaca industry in Australia and New Zealand. These proven genetics are clearly expressed in Tapestry’s phenotype and consistently transmitted to his progeny.

Trifecta is a stylish medium‑grey Huacaya male with depth of pedigree and strong genetic intent. He is sired by Empire Tapestry and out of McKenzie Fields Twilight, a solid grey female whose dam line carries Forestglen Tarquin genetics — a recognised lineage associated with structure and fleece consistency.

While lightly shown, Trifecta made a strong impression as an Intermediate, winning Supreme Champion Grey at the 2023 Colourbration Show, highlighting his overall quality, balance, and presence.

His fleece is lustrous with good density, and he presents a well‑balanced frame with correct proportions. Recently certified and keen to work, Trifecta represents a strong option for breeders wanting to introduce grey genetics backed by proven bloodlines.

Hotshot is a medium‑grey Huacaya male who began working a little later than planned but has Huacaya and one of the most influential grey males to stand at McKenzie Fields, renowned for his fineness, fleece structure, and strong show results.

His dam, Waimarie Harmonica, is one of our most valued breeding females and has consistently contributed strong maternal traits and reliable production to the herd.

Hotshot carries the hallmark qualities of the Pito line, including balanced fleece structure, good density, and calm temperament. He is easy to handle and is a sensible option for breeders wanting to reinforce grey genetics with proven bloodlines and sound, practical breeding traits

Kabachi is a light‑fawn Huacaya male combining elite white and fawn genetics with modern fleece traits. He is sired by Empire Tapestry and out of Silverstream Kalahari, whose pedigree includes Silverstream Godsend ET and Jolimont Attitude — two highly influential Huacaya bloodlines recognised internationally for fineness, density, and long‑term fleece performance.

Kabachi was awarded Champion Light Fawn Male Huacaya at the 2023 Colourbration Show as an Intermediate, with judges responding to his fleece quality, balance, and overall type.

His fleece shows a long staple length, strong density, and excellent consistency across the blanket. Recently certified and unproven, Kabachi is showing all the signs of becoming a capable and valuable herdsire.

Kasanova is a proven roan Huacaya working male who has produced four cria to date, with offspring noted for their lovely temperaments and consistent fleece characteristics.

He is sired by Bonitas Pito, bringing proven grey and colour genetics, and out of Silverstream Kalahari, whose pedigree includes Silverstream Godsend ET and Jolimont Attitude — internationally recognised bloodlines known for fineness, density, and fleece uniformity across generations.
