McKenzie Fields Liberty Belle

SORRY, I'M SOLDCHOCOLATE BROWN HUACAYA Liberty had an interesting start to life. 2 females must have given birth at exactly the same time in the same location and decided to switch cria. Fortunately, the mother’s were different breeds (suri and huacaya), so it was easy to pick up on the switch. Everyone seemed happy with the arrangement, so I just left them to it, so Liberty was raised by a medium fawn suri and her real mother raised a dark brown suri boy.

Liberty has a lovely coloured fleece and a nice presence about her. She has plenty of colour in her background, so will be interesting to see what she produces as she gets to breeding age.

Liberty Belle’s sire is Silverstream Nazareth. He is an impressive male with an excellent frame, strong bone and a great head type. He also has a beautiful fleece – stunning colour with great lustre and length of staple, which has been confirmed by how well he has done at shows (taking out the Champion Roan fleece at the 2016 National Show)

Liberty Belle is out of Nazareth’s first batch of cria, so this is a great opportunity to get these genetics into your herd early. She has grown into a real character – plenty of personality and usually at the front of the herd to great me in her cheeky fashion.
