WHITE HUACAYA Kingston Flyer is one of my favourites. I originally named him Snowball, but as he matured I realised that he indeed had stud potential and that Snowball just wasn't a 'studly' enough name.
Kingston has always produced a huge amount of fleece each year and the only reason I had ‘ruled him out’ as a stud male was due to his colour. But his confirmation and fibre just can’t be overlooked.
Kingston's sire is Patagonia Celtic Eclipse - a solid white son of the imposing Celtic Triumph and Patagonia Sunline. Not only did Eclipse do incredibly well in the show ring but he also had a strong conformation, placid temperament and an ultrasoft crimping fleece which has retained its fineness year after year. Kingston was certified in September 2014. Over 2 roan girls he gave us 2 whites, which wasn’t ideal for our breeding programme, however they have fantastic fleece and a great solid frame. This year we are trying him over a couple of our black girls.
